Cubase Pro 12
Windows 10
Happy New Year everyone.
I have a issue that I can't say I have come across before and I am not able to find help online on how to fix it.
Imagine that I have Bounced and mixed down drum track, Kick, Snare, Hats, Toms, Overheads and so on.
I decide that I want to add, say a 4 bar percussion loop from a sample pack so I import the loop.
I then use "Free Warp" in the editor to make some adjustments to the sample - works great.
For the next 4 bars I want to use the same loop but I will change the timing of the percussion elments. So I left click and hold down the left mouse button on the percussion loop while hold down the windows Alt key and drag, which creates a new copy of the loop.
This is the problem...
If I make any changes in the copy, cubase also applys them to the original which is not what I need.
How do I stop Cubase from doing this?
Many thanks
